FMCA National Vice President, Eastern Area

John Reynolds, F171042

John recently was elected to his first term as national vice president, Eastern Area. He and his wife, Jayne, joined FMCA in 1991. Shortly thereafter they joined the Penn Coachmen chapter, and they attended their first Penn Coachmen rally in 1996.  In years since, John has served the chapter as an area vice president, senior vice president, and chapter president. He and Jayne helped to form the Ives Runners chapter in the Eastern Area and the Deer Creek RV'ers chapter in the Southeast Area.  John recently served as president of the Ives Runners chapter.

John worked as security chairman at several Eastern Area rallies, those in Harrington, Delaware; Memphis, Tennessee; and Richmond, Virginia.  He and Jayne served as rally masters for the October 2012 Eastern Area Rally in York, Pennsylvania, and also served in this capacity for two area rallies in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. John and Jayne cochaired seminar monitoring at FMCA's international convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2006. John currently serves on the Audit Committee, the Policy and Procedure Committee, and the Technical Advisory Committee for Family Motor Coaching magazine.

John and Jayne have been married for 47 years and have two children and five grandchildren. They enjoy traveling the country with their grandchildren and their two miniature dachshunds.

After graduating from Williamsport High School in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, John attended Thompson Business Institute in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He has been employed in the construction industry for the past 45 years, starting out as a laborer and working his way up to company president. In 2010 he helped form a natural gas company, was elected to the board, and recently was re-elected as president and CEO.
